Wayward Winds Trash Pick Up

I was out walking one day on the banks of the Ohio River In Cincinnati, Covington, and Newport when I felt compelled to pick up the trash that was strewn along my path. Perturbed by the thought that humans could be so disrespectful to our planet and ignorant enough to commit such a crime, I SMH at the sight every time.

So, I decided to take trash bags with me to pick up the filth and keep my path clear. (possibly a metaphor of life?). Every day there is new trash, but I will do my part to keep this world clean. We can collectively make a difference if we all do our part to keep our path clear.

Interested in joining the effort? Join me on Sunday Mornings at 9:00 for a 4 mile walk and clean up. Purple People Bridge start. If I’m not there, continue to care; pick up the litter no matter what the weather.

The Illiterate Litterer

Mother Nature cries because of the litter thrown at her everyday.

Like spit in the eye, she just wipes it away.

When will she give up hope

To provide for this human race?

Something must be done;

Each of us together before we’re gone!

Do your part, put trash in the bin;

For if you do, we will all win!
